How to Attract Visitors to my website?

I just built a FREE website about how parents can educate their children to get smarter through creative imagination exercises. I tried to attract some visits by posting comments in many websites. But no people are interested in even trying to click the link. It looks like posting comments is not a good way.Could anyone give me any directions?

You can join as many forums as you can related to your niche and then give a backlink of your site in signature. You will surely see the difference.

Kakarothusain , Firstly you be sure weather the content of your site is pure.It should be unique.It should not be copied from other site.After that you look for some good niche blogs & comment on it.Look for link ex-change in the site of the same theme.
Commenting in forum ,Blogs is not a bad way but it should be with the topic,your comment should add some value,should share some information or it will be considered as spam.

first of all the content of the website should be unique and innovative which might increase the traffic....Secondly the google ads can help you the most in getting a huge traffic.....Also the promotion of the website should be done in a good manner.....

You should increase your page rank for this.
Your content should be innovative and interesting also you can take help of adsense.
